RCH prepared an air quality and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and noise analysis for the Lakeside Fire Station #1 Project in the community of Lakeside in San Diego County, California. The project includes the demolition of an existing commercial structure and construction of a new fire station facility. The air quality analysis utilized CalEEMod to estimate criteria pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions. Estimated criteria pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions were compared to San Diego Air Pollution Control District daily and annual thresholds of significance. The noise analysis included one long-term noise measurement (24 hours) and several short-term noise measurements at the project site. Project construction noise levels at nearby sensitive receptors were estimated and the project was reviewed for consistency with the San Diego County General Plan Noise Element and the San Diego County Noise Ordinance. All impacts were determined to be less than significant with mitigation incorporated.
