Green Island Road Wine Warehouse Project

RCH staff acted as air quality analysts for the Green Island Road Wine Warehouse Project in American Canyon, California. The proposed project would consist of a 258,050 square foot wine storage warehouse on the 12.3 acre site. Average daily construction emissions, daily operational emissions, and annual operational emissions were determined for comparison to BAAQMD thresholds. The analysis included an assessment of several project design features including a night-air cooling system to capture the cold air from outside during the night, which reduces the demand to use the refrigeration system. RCH conducted two long-term and several short-term (10 to 15 minutes) noise measurements at the project site. Noise measurements were made using Metrosonics db308 sound level meters. Project construction noise levels were reviewed for consistency with the Napa County General Plan Noise Element and the American Canyon Municipal Code.
