RCH is the prime consultant and responsible for the preparation of an EIR for a cemetery that is proposed to be built in unincorporated Alameda County. The EIR evaluates the potential environmental effects of a proposed new cemetery to be built out in two phases including an area dedicated for the Jewish community. RCH conducted noise measurements, and wrote a noise technical report to support the project. RCH created air quality reports including estimates of emissions from the construction and operation of the project. RCH prepared technical chapters analyzing hydrology, noise, air quality, greenhouse gases, traffic, hazards, and hazardous materials. The EIR was certified on August 10, 2023.
