RCH is the prime consultant and is responsible for preparing an EIR for an organics composting facility that is proposed to be built in unincorporated Sonoma County. The EIR evaluates the potential environmental effects of a composting facility with an annual incoming materials volume of 185,000 tons. RCH staff also act as senior air quality and noise analysts for the EIR. The air quality analysis includes estimations of emissions from the construction and operations of the project. RCH conducted noise measurements, and is preparing a noise technical report to support the project. RCH is preparing technical chapters analyzing hydrology, noise, air quality, greenhouse gases, and traffic.
