Shasta County Planning Commission Approves Sawmill Project

December 14, 2023 - The Shasta County Planning Commission has granted approval for the proposed sawmill expansion project following a comprehensive CEQA assessment. RCH Group Senior Air Quality Scientist Michael Ratte authored the air quality technical report for the analysis. The project, near Burney in Shasta County, involves the addition of a sawmill, steam kilns, and boiler to an existing industrial site.
